Stavanger / Tirana, 27 October 2026: Assist IT AS, the company behind the Assist platform for roadside assistance and special transport, has entered into a pilot, customer and partner agreement with Road Aid Europe. The agreement makes Albania Assist's first market in the Balkans.
Road Aid Europe will use Assist as a central dispatch hub, where its call centre receives requests for assistance, finds the nearest available tow truck or service provider on the map, and sends missions directly to the drivers' mobile app. Motorists can request help through a web form or QR code that shares their exact location, which gives faster and more precise help on the road.
As a partner, Road Aid Europe will sell, deliver and support Assist for towing companies and service providers in Albania, where it has exclusive rights. It can also sell in Kosovo, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
Road Aid Europe has also been chosen as the pilot customer for Assist Connect, Assist's new module for central dispatch centres, and will help shape it as it is developed.

A new version of Assist, adapted for Albania and the Balkan region, is now being tested and is expected to be released in early November 2026.
