The suitcases are unpacked, the stand is dismantled, and the mountain stands quietly up there without us. We just want to say thank you — to the organisers for good days, and to everyone who stopped by for a chat, a coffee, or just a hello.
Bergingsmesse Storefjell 2026 turned out to be much of what we hoped for — and a fair amount we hadn't expected.
The industry has plenty to say
We came with some thoughts about recovery towards 2030 and how the year could be built broader. What we went home with was considerably more valuable: real-world input. Concrete wishes for how Assist could work better in exactly the workflow you're in. Some of the suggestions were actually built on the spot. Others are on the pad and will be worked on over the summer. Thank you for sharing so openly.
Tow Truck Turbo was the talk of the show
Gina had built a game for the event — Tow Truck Turbo. Saying it went beyond expectations is almost an understatement. The queue at the screen, the laughter from those who set records, and all the stories about why the tow truck never gets there... we had fun. Thanks to everyone who played — and congratulations to those who ended up with the high scores!
Training sessions in Skogshorn
We held several training sessions for customers who wanted them. Simple setup, tips and tricks, questions we hadn't thought about. Good to meet you face-to-face, rather than through a chat.
How do we recover the whole year — not just the peaks?
What we probably talked about most, at the tables and the stand, was this: that the recovery industry needs steadier revenue across the whole year, not just in the seasonal peaks. Motorhome tourists in summer, regular customers like car auctions and equipment rental, local direct jobs. Not new wisdom, but a good discussion emerged about how we can help each other make it work.
We got to know Tracksys better
Sharing a stand with Tracksys also gave us time to get to know our partner better. We know their products well, but three days together gave us a chance to talk about something bigger than the integration — how we can help each other's customers in new ways going forward.
And, a little unexpectedly: new customers
We didn't come to Storefjell to sell. We came to talk. But there were some new Assist agreements too, and honestly, that made us both happy and a little moved. Thank you for the trust — we'll make it worth it.
Happy summer!
Summer is at the door, and hopefully a good mix of motorhomes on the mountain and some rest for yourselves. We'll take your input with us into July and August, and we're already looking forward to seeing you again — whether in Assist, on the phone, or at the next opportunity. Take care of each other out there.
Best regards, the team at Assist
